About
My name's Jasha. I am a Design Leader and Design Technologist with a background in product, design systems and visual design.

Right now
I live in NYC and work as a Lead Product Designer doing UI and UX design as well as user research. I most recently worked at JPMorgan Chase bank as a lead designer on the Manhattan Design System team. When I’m not designing, I love drawing, painting, hanging out with my doggie Nelson, and spending time with my family.
How I got here
I’ve always known I wanted to be a designer. In my 20’s, I took some free community college CSS classes and started building Wordpress websites for local restaurants. I loved eating out and realized the restaurant websites didn’t capture how good the restaurants actually were. That work led to designing skateboarding apparel, FMCG goods, non-profit fundraising campaigns, and eventually the past 10 years in product design, UX, and user research.
What I bring to teams
The diversity of my experience means I’ve learned from so many people: good design from inspiring creative directors, meaningful stakeholder engagement from government service leaders, principles of development and maintainability from developer colleagues, and how to actively listen to the people who use what I design.
I’m driven by improvement through design, whether that’s starting a design system to help teams focus on hard problems, driving change across an organization to support design system adoption, or creating annotation tools that meet both business requirements and user needs. I love being a catalyst for process change and collaboration, and I never stop learning through international design and research communities.
Let’s connect
I’m always learning from others and love to share and support people where I can, through mentorship or listening and feedback sessions. I’d love to connect—please reach out and don’t be a stranger!
