Vicki Meintjes makes beautiful sweets and asked me to work on her branding project. I presented her with a few concepts and she was really happy with the final choice: an abstract illustration created from pieces of her cakes.
In her own words “I scribbled a circle on a bit of paper and mumbled something about how I wanted it to look like it might be a top down photo of one of my cakes, but not necessarily, and how I wanted it to be minimal and suggestive but more in the realm of art. She f-ING nailed it.”
